The new EN 16510-2-7:2025 “Residential solid fuel burning appliances – Part 2-7: Combustion appliances fired by wood logs and pellets” has been published on May 28th. The family of the EN 16510 series is therefore expanded to now also include “hybrid” appliances that are alternatively fueled by wood or pellets.
We are waiting for its implementation by the national standardization bodies and its harmonization so as to allow the Notified Bodies to be notified and listed on the SMCS (formerly NANDO) website of the Commission.
